wanted to know?????

Post by your2slow »

Hey all, i was just woundering how much you'd pay at the junk yard for that after market hatch hood that mazda stopped making. I paid 40 dollars canadian for it. Just woundering if that was a good price. It was in perfect condition except for the brackets, but i just sanded it and paint it black again and it look's great. Just woundering though how much you'd all pay. :D :D

If you mean the hatch shade then you're just lucky to find one. I've been to the wreckers a few times now and found 10 mx-3's and have not found one with the it on. So 40 bones sounds good to me. :) Enjoy it, cuz your one of the few on this board who has one. <p>one

yay, :D :D :D :D . Kewl, ya i guess i'm lucky cause i was just told by someone that mazda sold them for $150 new (when they were selling them). LOL and the one i got is in mint condition. No scraches, no chips nothing. Seem's like it came out of the box. Funny though cause the car that i found it on at the yard was smashed to bits. Only think really intacted on it was the hatch and the spoiler and the hatch shade. ;) :p

They were sold for $220.00 painted to match. That's what I paid back in '93.
