average ze driver takes it...depending on your mods you should be in the mid/high 14's and a stock corrado should be 15 flat or low 15's...If the corrado is modded tho could be a close race

Re: Corrado 2.9 vr6 vs. Mx-3 klze
That should be a really good race if theres any mods done to that Corrado. Those are the only VWs I like. All my friends got these MK2 and MK3 Jettas with 2.0L 16Vs and they cant even beat my KLDE MX-3. Corrados are the only ones I have good races with so you should beat him by a bit.

Re: Corrado 2.9 vr6 vs. Mx-3 klze
Well, since the Corrados VR6 is a 2.8L stock...then I'd say a 2.9 would have some work done. VR's are very good motors. Bullet proof and tourquey. Sound's very similar to a GS's V6.

A Corrado will probably have an electrical fire under the hood before he reaches the finish line. :p

That depends on where you are at and what you are betting. A lot of questions like this stem from grudge matches and street racing.Originally posted by lakersfan1:

If your gonna be at a track, say which one, if your gonna ask who will win, dont just go to a track and race them.
Its a hands off approach for the forum but street racing is shunned in every manor here.

Unfortunately I could not race the corrado because he said that his 3rd gear syncro is fu(ked
2nd gear just pulls on this klze.

I don't street race but usually grudges will stem from the street and therefore I will organize the race for the track.Originally posted by torpedan:

Actually the 2.9l VR6 is a stock motor for the Corrado in Europe for the 1995 model year. The car was badge as a Corrado Storm, in essence it is equivalant to us getting a ZE. I believe that the 2.9l has somewhere near 190bhp, putting it head to head with a ZE mx-3. BUt having owned both, weight wil come into play, if he as dropped weight in the Corrado it could be tough for you, if he is still running a stock interior, then you should take it.Originally posted by mazdubber:

Hahahaha that is funny, RsX's are not that shabby but they are slower than i figured they would be. I have run into one though that i though was respectable.Originally posted by nvrsrndr:

Re: Corrado 2.9 vr6 vs. Mx-3 klze
I thought it sounded like a trick question to begin with ....... since there is no such thing as a Corrado that works.Originally posted by nvrsrndr:

Why do you guys keep ranking on Corrados? Maybe I'm a bit partial because I still want one, but the reviews seem fine on them...
