I thought I would try improving my 1/4 mile times.
I learned the hard way to check the weather forcasts better before going. I got there paid for me and the kids, got thru the tech lines and got in line with the other sportsmans cars. I was feeling pretty good, there were only 15-20 cars there and I'm thinking lots of practice tonight.
Not so fast, I felt a drop of rain and apparently the track officials did to. We waited an hour or so until the light drizzle turned into a downpour then left for home with lighter wallets and no runs.
Oh well better luck next time.
on a funny note, my kids noticed that I had the quietest car there. I told them next time were here I'll disconnect the muffler so as not to be the quietest car there.
Andy P. 93 GS

They didn't give you all rain checks? They used to even if you only got a few runs in...

I used to know alot about MX-3's, but not so much anymore. Oh well.

We stopped on the way out and asked. Oh well live and learn. I'll be back, just a little more cautious on the weather.
The kids are hooked on it more than me. Its just a shame I can't be as quick as the klze equiped MX-3's hint hint. If and when you decide to go let me know and I will have a cheering crowd there for you.
