mx-3 4cyl vs civic
me and my buddie at work have raced after work ... anyways .. he drives '90 civic 5spd, with tranny from crx, intake, exhaust, perf. clutch, me with my 93 mx-3 4cyl.5spd, cold air, exhaust, perf. ignition. there were 3 races. and the final score was 3:0 for mx-3.<BR>I raced him twice and won... then a buddy of his jumped in and he lost too... so that might answer some questions .

if it's not at a track, it's "street racing".

Re: mx-3 4cyl vs civic
The whole reason it's called street racing (in my opinion) is because it takes place in an unsanctioned and dangerous enviroment where someone could be seriously or fatally injured. Even though this is a factor in ever track or drag race there are strict rules pertaining to those which are made to prevent too much injury. A pot hole, some coolant, a little oil, on the street or highway these dangers are everywhere. As well as the possibility of endangering not only the racer's lives, but the lives of pedestrians. Let us all remember this when we come to a stop light or you're on the highway. If its unsanctioned, its unsafe! This sounds cliche, but its very true.

Amen to that. there is to much up to the drivers and the cars. Not all motors are equal once they get some miles on em.
