Re: No More Illegal Street Racing Topics
I agree 100% with Jeff. I am new to this site but I have been with Probetalk for quite a while and I know that Probetalk would be a better site if the Kill Forum were deleted. All you see in there is topics like "Beat an MGT tonight" or "Toasted an Si". YOu know they are mostly BS, but the point is, the only time you should race is on the track trying to better your time. I feel that his rule may even be too lax. Maybe he should dedicate this forum to people that have modified their cars to see what mods affect track times. Like somebody races their stock Neon (hehe) and runs a 15.74. Then he adds an Iceman intake and whoa all of a sudden he runs a 15.46. This would show that 1) Neons are quick and 2) the iceman works. This would give beginners a few of the best bang for your buck mods. Just a thought. I will say this tho, I do street race occasionally, but its normally on deserted roads or short little sprints up to 50 at a stop light. Yes it is dangerous, but I am an idiot.
