Direct port nitrous on my B6t..Hmmmmm

Post by cjthor »

Well I was throwing everything into the MINI to take to the builders.. I noticed on the bottom of the intake runners that there are blocked off holes in each runner. It looks like texmx3 (if anyone remembers this guy) already drilled and tapped for direct port. Does anyone have suggestions on what system to use? Might as well go direct port since its already drilled. Thanks!

yeah, he already had the pro race fogger kit like mine. you can get it through jegs for like 600 bucks. kind of a pain running the hard lines but other than that its easy.he had them located under the manifold? must be tryin to hide somethin. if you can get a hold of him i think he still has alot of stuff(NOS kit) and other goodies... :D

all the stuff he gave me was ok but left me with no support or answers on the standalone. i can figure it out but am looking into others with more tech support(autronic or haltech). if i can recall correctly - you bought the b6t head that he had? he told me that it was pretty worked over and flowed very well, as for numbers i dont know. i can tell you one thing though, every shop is gonna be different. i took my head to my original machine shop to have the work done but took it to another to make sure -- and they were two totally different sets of numbers. something to do with how much pressure they use when they do it. i dont believe there is a standard. im not really sure how they do it but they told me youll never get the same numbers if you do it twice. willie also told me that the head was stock except the port and polish just making sure he told you the same. there was also matched mani's that came with it. ttyl

Yup I have both head and intake mani. I also got his balanced crankshaft. I have emailed him a billion times on the numbers and he never got back to me...If only I was in Texas....
