Fuel pump question
Okay guys I'm sure this has been covered before but I wanted to be sure before I buy my new pump. I have heard that the pump from a 2nd Gen. RX7 will fit right in the MX3 with no mods. I would really appreciate some help or info on this guys so I can get this done soon. Thanks.
Why go only a quarter of a mile when you can take the road course and go all the way!

Re: Fuel pump question
the 2nd and 3rd gen will fit. the 2nd gen fits the bracket better. some slight mods are needed for the 3rd gen.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Re: Fuel pump question
High Volume In-Tank Fuel Pump:
If you are considering nitrous or forced induction you will probably need a higher volume fuel pump to get the additional fuel needed to the combustion cambers. The fuel pump from a Madza Cosmo (20B) is the only direct fit in-tank fuel pump upgrade. The Cosmo has never been available for sale in North America but the fuel pump is available from Mazda Competition Parts, in Irvine, California

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
]

Re: Fuel pump question
it will flow more fuel, but will eventually return back the excess fuel to the tank. In other words, it will do nothing unless you have a turbo, supercharger, or nitrious. Which all of these methods of forced induction require you to have a larger fuel pump.
