626 engine

I have been searching the internet and have found a couple of good engines. I have found a 85 mazda 626 SOHC engine. My question is would it fit my '94 mazda mx-3? I have a 4 banger in it now. I desperately want more speed. Can you guys help?

That's the FE 8 valve SOHC motor I believe. It's a really large motor. I've seen one in a first gen MX-6...and it's a long motor. There are alot cheaper options. Check the 4cyl forum and 4cyl FAQ.<P>Since this has nothing to do with forced induction, post closed.
