Whats your info on this turbo...

ok, I've read in another posting that a T3 turb off an 89 T-bird will fit on a regular V6 mx-3. What I would like to know is..<BR>1)how much would a garage charge to have the turbo installed.<P>2)Is there anything else I would need from the T-bird to make installation easyer and cheeper.<P>3)And finaly, how much hp would this add<P>and feel free to add anymore helpfull hints [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

In fact ANY turbo will fit on the MX-3 if you get the plumbing right. The only other things you will want off the thunderbird is the wastegate. If it's the intercooled model then you may want the intercooler, but I doubt it would fit in front of the radiator.<P>The garages will have to make custom plumbing and manifold. It will cost you prolly around $2K for them to put it in. <P>You should be able to get about 200HP out of it with proper tuning. But I'm not too sure about that.
