where can one aquire pistons that would be good for either a nitrous or a turbo set up? and or how hard is it to fabricate or is it one of those things u shouldn't mess with unless ur a pro?? thanx in advance

when you get into the realm of piston upgrades...you need to know what you want. it depends on what compression you want to run. with this comes more areas of concern. the higher compression you go, the less boost you can run unless you have an adequate air/fuel management setup. the higher the compression/boost, the more precise it has to be. i wouldn't even try thinking about fab'ing your own uless you are a very skilled machinist. as far as where you can get them, open up an import mag and call around.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

If youre building up a "no expense too big" motor, you start worrying about how the flame front of the combustion process will flow along the top of the piston. This is what Endyn has been doing a lot of work on. Also, everything from alloys to the dimensions of where the ring lands are comes into play. <P>I wouldnt try it if i were you.
