Good News!

Post by Andrew_Pakula »

Those who know me probably know that I've been without insurance for the past month due to the fact my insurance went up and I was out of a job.
However, Good News! I got a new job today that will end up paying me more than my old job. So I'll have insurance back on my car by Monday or Tuesday most likely. So I'll be able to go out now for the Toronto meets again.
My new job is actually in Woodbridge, near some of the race stripes around there. So since the last few Toronto meets have been around there it will be even easier for me too meet up around there.
Now that I'll have car back on the street I really want to get going on the Toronto/Ontario Club.
I can make the website and even get a domain for it. I think the name of it should just be something simple like Toronto MX-3 Club or something to that effect.
Anyways let me know what you think. Feel free to e-mail me or icq me.

Thanks guys,
Now that I got a new job I will be getting my pak bumper on finally once I first pay off a bit of credit card debt I racked up.
Canadian_ice - I think it would have been better if we had maybe just done an Ontario Club then had like Toronto and Ottawa chapters. Well anyways I guess it doesn't really matter.

andrew - it's not too late man. All I have to do is add the words "Ottawa Chapter" :D
It's up to you.

Congrats Andrew (on getting your insurance up and running)
I look forward to seeing you at the meets.
I agree with keeping the club name simple, but when it comes to putting a sticker or something on the windshield of your MX-3 to show affiliation, I think that should be something different.
I really like the name MXtreme concept3, I have come up with a few sticker designs for it, so you will understand why I pluralized the word concepts with a 3. If I remember, I'll bring the "ideas" to the meet on Sunday.

In terms of the Web presence for the club it should just be simple like Toronto MX-3 Club or Ontario MX-3 Club. As for decals and stuff aliases like MXtreme concept3 should be fine.
I won't be able to make the meet this sunday because I won't have my insurance back on the car till Tuesday offically but after that I will be able to get to the meets.
