do you need factory spoiler for GTR application , if so why ?

No you don't, the newer GTR spoiler kits come with the "needed" hatch harness.
95 MX-3 RS, Black, 5 Speed.

For the Top Mix/Erebuni GTR wings a factory garnish was never, ever needed.
Some how some how this myth began years and years ago that a factory garnish was needed to fit under the gtr wing but it was never true.
It fits perfectly with out it. In fact I have seen one mx-3 up close with a garnish and it looks terrible, it is totally not needed.
