Do you think a $1000 paint job is reasonable?
That includes striping my car all the way to the metal. I plan on painting it soon. Any recommendations on what type of paint is good??

just make sure its base coat/clear coat method. you cant go wrong with dupont paint or house of color. $1000 sound reasonable. ihad my car painted for $2500 including the headlights conversion and the kit molded. good luck

That sounds good, here in the UK you would have to pay double that.

yea and c-mx's conversion is nice too. my paint job cost 900 with engine bay (had to remove the motor and most of the wiring harness clips), door jambs, trunk jambs, and exterior with 2 primer coats, 3 base coats, clear with pearl, and 2 final clears. i recently had my old clear removed and got a new clear paintjob with bronze pearl instead of ice pearl.

1000 sounds reasonable. i recommend you check out their garage and see what kind of work is around and check out what kind of a job they did.
