Re: roof scoop
it kind of looks like the one i have but mine has rounded off corners not square , just so it matches the rest of the curves of the mx-3 it gives it better looks. at least thats what i think. But that one looks quite nice i have to say

That's tight but it sucks when you have a sun roof.

Re: roof scoop
ya in rally racing it is actaully hooked up properly, but im guessing this isnt. dont get me wrong it looks really good but its just adding crazy drag. to me it just lloks liek one of the hood scoops, and some one that is pretty imaginative had a good idea. looks good man

Re: roof scoop
With such a low profile I would think that the parasitic drag added by the scoop is actually rather small
It's mostly inside the boundry layer, and if it's exhausting inside the car then it's even less.

Re: roof scoop
If the scoop is installed to be fuctional it doest not create that much drag that why you see them on a lot of touring, La Man, and Indy (Viper is one that has) type cars. Its a good mod if your going to make it fuctional but if you don't and you install it wrong wind will crack the bondo and fiberglass.
