okkkk heres what i think about the whole fog light situation, its fine we can just order our own, i think 4 inches would be good, 6 is like huge, um and for the grill i was just gonna buy mesh anyway. other then that everything sounds good!!

Hey guys!
Sorry for my delay in responding about all this - I was out of town for a few days.
Okay, so I have read all the latest on the bumper design. I had a feeling those Mazda fog lights would be way too expensive. I priced Miata fog lights a while back (they are Hella lights, I believe), and they were very near in price to what the P5 lights are. So it's fine with me that we're using something a little cheaper! As for the size, I suppose the 4 inch clears would be good. Anyone know how big the P5 lights are?
And regarding the placement of the blinkers, I agree that Onderground should put them wherever they seem to look the best... I think as long as the wiring harness for the lights will reach wherever they end up being.
Thanks to Eric for keeping us updated! Everything sounds good so far. :D

quote:
Originally posted by sureshiit:
okkkk heres what i think about the whole fog light situation, its fine we can just order our own, i think 4 inches would be good, 6 is like huge, um and for the grill i was just gonna buy mesh anyway. other then that everything sounds good!!

the MP5 fog are 6".. We can supply them but they run 100$ taxes in with our big discount with local performance shop...
Or using 4 inches fog... but 6" will look like mp5 better than 4"

my .02 !
Using another type of fog may not work... but we will be offering for those who wants them
other things I told oscar... I went to mazda to buy the middle grill from the MP5, so we wished to make a insert slot in the kit, so we could just clip the MP5 grill there... but!! the grill again is 200$ + tx..!!
and other thing, the grill is 27 1/2 inches long... and the lengh between the 2 headlight of the mx-3 is 29 inches... is impossible to make it fit...
So we will be obligated to custom the grill section like the picture submitted... but you need to forget the mp5 grill set... its too expensive and too wide!
we will make it like the picture and insert some cool mesh grill, dont worry for that It gonna be awersome...
but I just wanna tell you before!
I have received the money from oscar, I have scedule the mx-3 donor car for monday...!
So you should see picture next week... !
thanks

I vote in favour of the 6" clears as well. Not sure if I will use them or not as I may end up putting the oil cooler or brake cooling ducts in there but definitely have to consider the lights.

k heres an off topic question having to do with air intake, can you feed the airintake in your lower front grill? or will the rad and other things be in the way?
