ignition light not working

Just recently my ignition light has not been working. Well most of the time it doesn't work. I think if someone opens the passenger door it will come on, but not the driver door. Anyone know what is going on?? Is it a fuse?

its a bad connection, at the bottom rear coner of the door frame(on the car) there is a black switch that when you close the door it pushes in and when its open the switch pops out and the light goes on, play with the switch or take the screw out and clean the hole
