If there is that much pressure in the crankcase, it sounds as if you have some seriously excessive blow-by. Normally, leaving the dipstick unseated creates a vacuum leak, not an oil storm. Check the cylinder compression.

Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

Practically anyone I have ever spoken to with any of these mazda v6's - any size, any car - has had the same problem I have - oil pooling in the spark-plug wells, due to the $h!tty valve cover gasket these things are "blessed" with. But be that as it may, I have never heard of oil shooting out of the damn things - its leaks quite quickly - but not nearly this fast or plentifully!!!
Therefore, I have to second the opinion that there is a serious blow-by problem, or a crank-case venting issue - these are a pain to locate, so good luck. Since moving hoses around seems to have helped, I hope that is it - BUT, you said you have been pulling the valve covers on and off, I assume re-using the gaskets...my humble opinion is they are probably fubar by now - don't mean to preach, but I have learned over the years that money spent on seals, gaskets - any replaceble sealing equipment - is NEVER money wasted. Quite the opposite, not doing it, is usually just a PIA waiting to happen.

Best of luck! :2thumbsup:

I think hes either got bad valve gaskets or bad valve guides. Whenever thesse are worn..oil shoot out the valve covers and alot of pressure is build up inder the oil cap. Couild also be the pvc valve.
