Just purchased a 92 mx 3 for 1400 need advice on front h

What's up everybody.I just bought a 92 mx 3 for 1100.I have a leak in the front head that is leaking into my alternator.I have been told that I need new valve cover gaskets.Also one of my spark plugs is usually oiled up a bit and my spark plugs are in the head right over the part where my gasket should be inserted.The dealer ship that i bought the car from told me that my alternator is running well but i guess with the leak into it it went out.So now i am consistently charging my battery up and riding off of that just to get to work and work only for now.Can anyone relate to or help me with this situation.

change your valve cover gasket asap it should fix it

i had the exact same problem , i changed my valve cover gaskets cuz it was leakin all over my alternator, although it never affected the alty's power abilities, i put the new ones in and took off my alty and cleaned it up real good and it hasnt leaked since but im noticing it again now so ive got a new problem
