I found another way to remove about 10 lbs of crap from your car.
when I was removing stuff to paint my car, I noticed both of my fenders had about 4-5 lbs of dirt and rotting leaves built up inside of them. It was seriously packed in there, i had to scrape it off to get the dirt to fall off.
That alone will probably save you at least 8 lbs. Mine felt more like 5 or 6 lbs per side!
