Need help plz.... idling problems.

i got my engine swap done last week and i didnt have the Vaf to go with the engine at the time. i got it in today. <p>OK heres the deal i just got my Vaf today and when i put it on the car wouldnt stay on. It felt like it was lacking fuel, i called my mechanic
who did my engine swap and they said that they had put on the K8 injectors, so i swapped over the klde injectors and the car was idling at almost 2500, im guessing that i might need to use the FPR off the klde engine, but i dont remember anyone on the Faq saying anything about this. <p>Ok here is something else that may cause a problem im using the klde injectors in the k8 fuel rails, but they look like they are the same size of the klde fuel rails. <p>Also what color are the klde injectors?

Why would you take the injectors out of the rails? Didn't the DE Intake manny come the fuel rails in it? All you had to do was switch them over. The FPR's should be pretty much the same thing, never should of unbolted it from the front fuel rail, though. 80% of the time people take the injectors out of the rails they damage them in some way or another.

The reason that i took them out of the Klde fuel rail was that i broke one of the rails, i over torqued them. Is there anyway that i check to whether or not the injectors are damaged?

Well from what I know there is no diode light for our injectors, not sure how it would work anyway.<p>Only way I know how is to take the rails out and hook up the wireharnass and the fuel lines hooked up and somehow stick the rails in a bucket and crank the car, this is kinda dangerous and hard to do, but the only way I would know how to do it.
