Swap question

Post by zevirii »

When doing the swap, do you have to pull the tranny too?
I was thinking of just putting a few blocks under the tranny, unbolting it and then pulling the engine.. This way I don't have to mess with the axles..
What you guys think?

Pull it all as one unit. Much easier.

Pull it with the trans,
when you put it back in, dont put on the harmonic balancer, it will get caught on a metal tab on the right side of the engine compartment.
if you leave off the balancer it will go in easy with a friend to help.
