KLZE Oil

Post by phyzy »

Before I posted this, I searched and found that the KL-ZE requires 4.2 quarts more or less depending on your filter size. I just did an oil change on it and after putting in 4.2 quarts of 10W-30 regular oil, the stick only shows about 70% full. Is there something wrong here, or am I going to have to put in like 6-7 quarts?!!

No, this was about 5-10 minutes after turning off the engine.

OK, wait until the engine is cold to the touch - preferably in the morning before you start it up. Make sure your car is on level ground and then check the dipstick. If it's still a little low, then add a little oil.
