which one would be faster and can the 1.8 take 8 psi on stock internals?

The 1.8 could take 8PSI on stock internals, providing:
a) It is intercooled efficiently
b) The A/F ratios are sweet
c) There is no detonation (follows B really)
This should put you over 200HP with the 1.8, with a great increase in low end torque.
My bet would be that the 1.8 is gonna be quicker supercharged than the 2.5 KLZE stock. However it's obvious which one has more potential.

Re: 2.5klze swap or supercharged 1.8 at 8 psi
I heard that the klze is a good swap but It seems that the mx-3 has grip factors with all that torque and the supercharger on a 1.8 will be easier to put the power to the ground then a 2.5 supercharged. I'd like to hear davids opinion as he has the swap and I know that for about the same money I could customize a vortech supercharger on my 1.8. for some reason my 1.8 pulls hard and I wouldn't want to swap my 1.8 at this time.
