what's wrong with my car?

When i start the car, it gives me check engine light for about 1-2 minutes, then it goes off. I have checked codes in ECU and it was code 16, which is EGR. My car acts more then wird now. When the engine is cold, it starts just perfect and works just perfect. After about 1 minute of drive, when you press gas pedal to the floor it starts choking, , but if i press gas pedal slow, it works just fine. What might be wrong with my car?

I'm guessing that your EGR valve is sticking or the solenoids are sticking. Check the online shop manual on <A HREF="http://www.mx-3.com" TARGET=_blank>www.mx-3.com</A> for trouble shooting procedures. See section F2, pages 74 and 85.
