Having problems with Idleing

I have a stock 92 mx-3 gs with a V6 engine. I know I'm not a mechanic or anything but I follow the directions to get things fixed. But I can't figure it out, my car will idle fine when it warms up. But when its first started it, like a post a little while ago, the engine idleing jumps. It will go down pretty low (not always same rpm's) and then it will jump anywhere from 1800-2200rpms. Any I checked and replaced the vacume hoses and intake hoses. I put a cone filter on and it idleing a little better but its still not consistent. Can anyone help me and let me know what it may be. I never had this problem, I'm just waiting for it to happen to me. My 92 GS idles fine, around 800, occassionally it may go up to 1400. But I think this is because of the fan coming on or maybe to circulate coolant or something. I keep worrying about my idle jumping though since I read some of these posts about other people with the problem
