KL-03 MX-3s

Which intake manifold works on the KL-03? It comes with the straight neck and so needs a curved neck to fit in without modification to the master brake cylinder. Does a millenia intake manifold (curved neck)work on the 03? I know the ZE uses it but would it work on the 03 as well? Just curious on what other KL03 mx3ers are running with. Thx in advance.

Correction. The KL-03 manifold WILL fit an MX-3. It's the JDM MX-6 style manifold that will NOT fit. The KLZE came with both the curved neck (Millenia) and the straight neck (MX-6) manifolds.<BR>The Millenia manifold will work on either the ZE or 03, but like I stated above, there's no need to seek one out if you're doing an 03 swap.

i went through this problem twice:<BR>all you have to do when you'r doing a kl-03 swap, is to get a rubber intake elbow from TB to VAF...<BR>that's it.<BR>There is no need to buy a different IM.<BR>

So the US spec Intake manifold WILL fit in without modification? Is all US spec with the curved neck or just some? I know mine is the Jspec manifold so it doesn't fit due to the fact the engine is from Japan. I guess sourcing a manifold from a MX-6 is best option?

So do you have an 03 or a ZE? It sure is hard to tell from your posts!<P>US 626 and MX-6 manifolds will fit although I understand the fit is tight. MX-3 owners that perform the ZE swap (like me) use the Millenia manifold since it has the larger ZE runners but has a curved neck. The ZE manifold with the straight neck will simply not work in a MX-3.<P>You know you could have searched only a little bit and found all of this out.......<BR> <p>[ April 23, 2002: Message edited by: pelado ]

I have the 03 but however my manifold is straight neck so it won't fit. I just want to know what alternatives I have. I have tried searching but didn't get alot of help becuz I found mainly on ZE.
