Millenia S engine

does anyone know if this engine will fit into mx3? my engine blew up, and somebody offered me that supercharched 2.3l from millenia. if it fits that would be one sweet ride

I believe the wiring harness is totally different. If you wanted to change the engine mounts, transmission mounts, transmision, wiring warness, and then try to get the engine in, it might work. 210 HP would be nice. Millenia S's also only came in automatics, so this is another thing you'd have to take into consideration.

Could be hard, because Millenia I think is same as Xedos 9 in europe, so it have automatic transmission!<P>PS. I also talked about such swap in Mazda dealership with electician and he told that even swaping 2.5 l V6 from millenia some how integrated with automatic transmission and swap is very hard!<p>[ January 08, 2002: Message edited by: Martins ]

yea, it's a bad idea, i'll probably do what everyone else is doing, drop in a 2.5. btw, anyone knows a place where i can get a 2.5 kl03 or klze in US, around Pennsylvannia area? because shipping from canada is freaking expensive

I'm sure you could get the engine, ECU, MAF, and other items for under $1K then rebuild it and install it.

mine was only 600 :) and it runs liek a charm 60,000 miles :)
