Re: wining
That could be alot of things. Most likely a ground issue. Maybe a ground loop isolator might work for that.

Re: wining
make sure the amps body is not screwed to anything steel in the car. Mount the amp to a peice of wood then mount that to the car. Ground the amp to a flat steel panel, not a bolt that is already there. also get a deck with high voltage pre-outs that would make almost any install fool proof.

good luck

Re: wining
Did you by any chance run the RCA cables & Remote wire along the same path to the amp as the POWER wire. This will cause noise aswell.

Re: wining
Yes i did that. I also grounded the amp to the bolt of the rear seat. How can i separate the 2 wires? I will try to fix that and see if it works. I will post an update.Originally posted by endocyc:

Re: wining
just run the wires on the opposite side of the car, and get yourself a self-tapping screw and screw it to a SAFE spot in the trunk, don't forget to scrape the paint away from the area around the screw so that it makes good connection. hope that helps

Re: wining
Another good tip -> Don't use the factory ground for the deck. Run your own ground wire, and ground it to the firewall. Get's rid of turn-off pops, and weird ground loops.
just another prevention

(and try to keep the wire short)
