sounds pretty dope. I think that 10's are much better for our little cars than 12's. In such a little car they are way too sloppy. Unless you are listening to exclusively gangsta rap. haha

the size of the car doesn't effect how "sloppy" the subs sound. 12s sound just fine in our cars... even 15s do
but nice setup man

Sorry for the little OT guys, but I'm a total rookie in stereo stuff...
Can you please tell me if it's better to have to subs smaller or just one bigger?
I want a good sound, but don't want all the hatch full of things.
Is RockFord a good brand?

this has been asked many times before and there will never be a definite answer.
The argument ppl will make is that 10s will reproduce bass faster, while 15s can go lower (LOTS lower). Personally, I've seen 15s used in a lot of SQ cars lately (wonder why? ). To start a big debate before it happens, go to a local shop and listen to the different sizes. Bring in one or two of your own CDs so you can hear your music on it. That's really all that matters is how YOUR music sounds to YOU. Everyone has different opinions and are looking for different aspecs when they shop for stereos.
Rockford Fosgate is a good brand. The older the better though (their amps especially). That's my opinion.

Thanks man,
I'll try and check 'em out personally.
So RF is a good brand, but if you must do ALL your stereo system with ONLY one brand which one would be best?

Umm, I'd probably go w/ Alpine or RF. I don't like RF's Head units but everything else is nice... and I love Alpine's HUs, but the subs are about average and the amps aren't bad.

Theres no need to go with just one brand, its a personal preference thing. Go to a few shops atleast and listen to what they have. If it sounds good to you then your set. Someone can have the most expensive stuff out there but if it sounds like crap all they did was waste money. The guys above talking about sub sizes had it right, just go listen and you will know what you like.

My problem is that I don't know which is a good amp or sub, and want to order all the stuff through onlinecarstereo.com, so if RF o Alpine are good brands, I'll go with them.
And RF is the only HU I can buy because it can switch between US and EU radio tuning.

yeah the subs sound really nice. i have them in a small r/t enclosure. they play nice clear bass for rap, and sound amazing with the highs as well.

ok I think you should check out these places for subs:
http://www.lambdacoustics.com/ (get the PB series or mobile LF)
or
www.strykeaudio.com (AV series)
or for really high end get a Adire audio Brahma

Lambda Acousics subs are the best SQ subs I have ever heard, however they are 100% SQ and extremely low, but they lack the "boom" sound that many subs have.
The stryke audio av's have great SQ and very good SPL, so if your want a loud sub (deep as well) this is a good bet.
The brahma subs are beasts, they are just crazy loud and extremely deep.
No alpine or pioneer or rockford fosgate or sony or any other common brand will be able to compete with these subs.
I personally have a Lambda PB 10 that is just insanely deep and amazing sounding. By far the best sub I have ever heard (I'm not big into super loud subs, so not having a boomy sub doesn't bother me).
