HELP!!! PLEASE

i know you guys dont get these that often but we are the Northwest Arkansas Reional Science and Engineering Fair 1st Place Team Winners along with Best in state and Acxiom Award winners. We are currently looking for any amount of money anyone can donate to us so that we may purchase a laptop with the power of a server but the versatility of a laptop (aka portability). umm dont get me wrong, but here we got teens that work at mcdonalds to pay for aftermarket parts for their mx3's. I am not sure if they could donate much, we aren't great sponsor. sorry

its not car parts its for a laptop that will be our server at Internationals for the Science and Engineering Fair.

isnt there some kind of school fund or scholarships. i know even where i live theres some, though we aint got **** worth of budget for our city and we're being milked dry of last penny. damn, i cant even go out of house and drive my car much, cops on every street, waiting to write you ticket for smallest infraction they can find.

basically our school doesn't sponsor anything that has to do with learning they care more about sports then kids developing new ideas and new software to possibly save lives.

what kind of time frame are you looking at?

we have to have the laptop before may 9th so we would probably have to have the donations before may 1st.

So how close to $6700 are you now? because you dont have long to come up with that kind of cash. your best bet would be to find somone to rent or borrow one from, which will be almost as hard as buying one.

we currently have two offers going. 1 being they donate to our school which is in no way associated with our project since we registered as home schooled. or 2 we can raise money.

We chose 2 because of the ignorance of our school.

Your best bet it too write to companies in that field asking for a small grant; they will often give whole or part, espeacially if they realize the possibility of adversing. Also, 6700 isnt that much for a company to give, factoringwhat advertising in other meathods costs...

Just a thought. But you would have to hurry, time is short, and most places will be slow to respond.
Oh yea, if you do what I said; get some one that can write very convincingly, otherwise it wont work.
