my experience etesting a klze. no egr, kl31 ecu, with je50. went for etest, and failed. they tested it as a k8. went to mazda dealer and got a letter saying is wasnt the stock k8 and it was a kl series motor. took it for etest again as a kl and it passed. I dont think they will test it under "hot ...

ya i heard the dsm trannies are pretty weak, but the tranny was apparently built up . previous owner had a t4 and matching goddies and he said he never had a problem since it was built up... fingers cross, knockin on wood....

had it for sale for 5 months, all lookers no money.. people almost broke the hood trying to take it off to see engine. had priced 7 to 4 grand, sold for 3600.... lol was impounded for street racing, my retarded buddy was racing a sunflower gt. After i asked why waste time with a sunfire?

u can use the long neck im and the kl31 tb on the mx3. All u have to do is remove the wheel on the side of the throttle body and replace it with the one from the k8.

just go to napa and get the size of hose u need, it will cost a tenth it would to get a specific kit, when i redid my hoses ity cost 15 bucks for all i needed, most kits are like 40

it can fit , but ull have to change most everything under ur hood, the ze is a way easier swap...direct bolt in... makes about the sdame power as a 2.3 miller... engine code is KJ ZEM i think... tones of work to swap, a few have tried i dont know the results, im sure a few sucessfull....

3 ways to fix 2 involve a grinder... put spacer nuts on strut toer to space it and hope u dont get an after market hood cause it wont fit... grind a bit off top of im or grind a bit off strut bar .
