shameem: you kit seems pretty good! if only i knew about it before i bought mine. Oh well, I am still very happy with mine :)

BTW - I believe the flicker is "normal" during startup becauase of the ballast. <- Someone please correct if I am wrong.

shameenm: so in total it cost you $1000 and it took 15 minutes to install? Thats pretty darn good. Can you post some pictures on how it looks? I am assuming it came in a different enclosure with some rewiring work required?

EDIT: I just ebay'd around and there seems to be a company called EFX that ...

Just AMAZING!!!

First off, I would like to thank Mooneggs, solo_ryder, and lowridah313 for replying and giving some feedback.

I just finished installing them and tested it after xmas eve mass. Sorry for the late reply, but I was plagued with exams and work.

For all those who are still deciding ...

Interesting... I should give those calls a call at xenon depot for some clarifications.

As for my installation, I may have to wait a couple weeks as I am preparing for my exams.

Solo_ryder: It is just a regular low beam kit, no hi beam. I believe the hi/low kits are called bi-xenon? Please correct it I am wrong.

lowridah313: I actually went out and bought extra cable ties just in case the ones that came with the kit ran out.

I have just purchased the following HID XENON kit and would like some directions on how to mount and install please.

I do not wish that this post becomes a Projector vs. XENON vs. Reflector discussion… Or how I may have made the wrong choice in going this ...

well i still havent fixed my problem yet, but i guess i should atleast update my status for those who may have searched and found this post based on a related problem.

i was able to isolate my problem down to wires on my relay being faulty...

ie. the connection is kinda loose since it looks ...

damn. actually my wire is kinda damanged...

the connection on the wire harness, the two "thicker" wires i can c the metal...

all the other relay and wire harness connections look fine.

but tomorrow is my day off so i hopefully i can figure this problem out!

hey guys thx for all the replies so far.

i think i will do the following in order when i get some time between school and work :(

1. change the meter fuse eventhough it looks ok
2. buy a new relay and wireharness and change it since its not expensive... 10-15bux total?

question now is ...

hey thanks for the replies guys,

Mark: i have no tint on my car, but it was nice to know that a tint my harm the rear defroster. will take that into future considerations when tinting.

Grants: i did changed the DEFROST fuse in the engine compartment, but i did not change the METER fuse since ...
