No they are not contradictory statements. As I stated before, the terms rrfpr and fmu are different in the same way that the terms laptop and computer are different. My advice is to get a SPEC stage 2 or 3 depending on your HP and Torque. SPECs are the best value for the money IMO. I am putting a stage 2 SPEC on my protege LX.
