try cleaning your MAF and TB with some carb cleaner...Stopped all my idle and "celleration" problems

spray both out with some carb cleaner and wipe out all the dirt and oil with a rag. take care around anything electrical. after cleaning let the car sit for a little while before starting..

on ebay there is a axle back with a canister. I belive it's stainless for around 150..kind of steep though...

TB=Throttle Body MAF=Mass Air Flow
Your TB is located on your intake manifold and your MAF is located on your intake...It's the box thing in the middle of the intake tube...

well our motor only has a 60amp alt. just about any load on the elect. will cause a strain...have your bat. checked...I have a 4 channel amp running a kicker 12 and some 6.5 in the door and I havn't had a problem...It sounds stupid but after I cleaned my TB and MAF my idle problems went totally away ...

you might want to clean out your TB and MAF with some carb cleaner...The TB and MAF tends to get gunked up from oil blow by on our cars....Relatively easy and pretty cheap($2) for a can of carb cleaner....your MAF or TB might be sticking...

upgrade to the 90 amp alt. off of the 1.8 I havn't done it yet but it couldn't hurt..

Ok not sure I can help but my mx started doing the same thing...After high revs or highway driving when slowing down the idle would drop and try to stall..It wouldn't happen very often so I put up with it for a while untill it started doing it in first, second and third gear. yea that location will be fine...I have an intake off of an integra gsr that is routed there..look at the parts off of the box that was down in the finder and there is a little scoop that attaches to the hole in the front of the cavity. it scoops air from under the car into that cavity...probably ...

your right on the overprice....if you buy them from a dealer or a stereo shop....Almost every shop marks up their product about 150-300%. I havn't owned any audiobahn subs, I had a componet set and some 6" midbass...didn't sound too bad, mid grade equipment. For the money they are :shrug: worth it. You might want to look into the other lines they make, Digital Audio and Swiss Audio..The Swiss gear looks sweet...I'm thinking of getting ...
