Re: STICKY THROTTLE

I had the exact same problem with my car, unfortunately I never solved it because every time I had a chance to look at it, it would work perfectly fine. But I do remember some older threads regarding this issue. Check out this thread:

Re: The Great Kingston MX-3 Meet is done, Pics Here

Why did I sell my MX-3? WHYYYYYY????!?!?!???!?

Oh yeah, it needed valve cover gaskets, head gasket, brakes, suspension, seat upholstery fixed, exhaust and rust was starting on the body. Still miss it though when it was in top form.

[FS] Enkei Rims and Yokohama tires

Hello, I sadly sold my MX-3 last year and forgot I still had the summer wheels/rims in my shed.
They are 4x Enkei RS5 205/55/15 rims and for tires they have Yokohama AVS ES100 on them. Probably only about 2 summers worth of driving on them and no damage.

I'm asking $500cdn for the full set (I think ...

Re: At this time, are you a Present, Past, or Future MX-3 Owner?

I don't own my 94 MX-3GS any more. I sold it a couple weeks ago. Like many of you, it was my first car and I planned on keeping it forever even after buying a new car. But, I didn't have any place to properly store it. So, it was either let it rot out in the yard, or let some one else have some fun ...

Oil in spark plug wells

Hey, I left my MX-3 GS sit for about a month. When I went to take it out for a drive it idled fine for about 10 minutes then when I put in 1st and tried to take off it started running very very rough, and the check engine light came on. I had a friend take a look and there is oil in almost all of ...

Re: Might be selling my MX-3 GS

From searching it looks like the oil in the spark plugs is caused by the valve cover gasket? Odd that it would give out from sitting for just a few weeks. How much does that cost to repair usually at a garage? Just trying to figure out if it's worth fixing and selling with safety and E-test or sell ...

Re: Might be selling my MX-3 GS

In Canada its called an Eclipse GT or GTP. The P meaning I have the performance package (larger rims, aluminum pedals etc). I got an 08 because I don't like the styling changes of the 09. It's a pretty fun car. I was going to from the MX-3 to the MX-5 but I went away from that test drive ...

Re: Might be selling my MX-3 GS

Might be selling my MX-3 GS

Hello, after several years of fun with my MX-3 I bought a new 08 Eclipse GT-P and think I might sell my Mazda.
It's a 1994 Mazda MX-3 GS with about 166,000 KM. 5 speed manual, sunroof, complete stock and only 2 owners including myself. Currently has the stock alloys on it but I have 15" summer rims ...

Recommendations for new suspension and brakes?

Hey, I have posted on here in a LONG time. That is mainly due to the car becoming a daily driver and other things taking up my cash (house). Now though, there are a few things that need fixing that I can't stand any longer.

First thing, suspension is very weak and making lots of noise. What are the ...

Hey, i was at the meet last year. It was fun meeting up with everyone and a fun drive up, except for the wheel bearing that I wrecked on the way back. But I thought it was kinda long. This year looks like it will have some more events to keep it fun. I will probably be able to come.

If you are on ...

I drive mine all year, I couldn't justify putting away a 12 year old car into storage which wasn't that expensive of a car to begin with. As much as I like it and even though it has fresh paint, it's still not like it's a Ferrari.

Now if you have a second vehicle that is a suv or something with ...

Trunk panels rattle, help!

Hey, anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the panels that flip up in the trunk from rattling? I know the easy way would be to glue them down but they have come in handy a few times when fitting some stuff in the trunk. I already tried putting some type of foam where it overlaps, but that didn ...
