Re: 1.6/93mx3 sons car

So Chris, you wanna be my Dad? I'll trade... straight up... my dad knows where to put the gas and the buck stops there...haha.
Anyhow, as far as the header goes, you'll have to wait unless you want one thrown together at a muffler or performance shop. You won't find one anywhere else(than ...

Re: Rotary engine in mx-3!

Not unless you have about $20 grand. Sorry bro, but that operation is a major one. If you have the funds, that would be a very unique project and I would love to see the outcome. Everything would have to be changed; tranny, ecu, gears... the list goes on. Not a project for the faint at heart or if ...

Re: MX-3.com needs YOUR HELP!

Jeff, your time is very appreciated. I love having a car the isn't "mass modified". On the other hand it is difficult to modify a car that isn't widely recognized by aftermarket companys. Thank you for all you have done, along with all the members that have contributed to our hobby. I look forward ...

Re: IMPORTFEST.com MX-3????

Wow!! Very nice my man!! So many questions and so little time... on page 25, are those pics at the bottom of your engine? If so, where did you find all those products? I can't ever find anything, and man do I look!! : ) That powdercoat looks sooooo good. How much did that run you? Who did your ...

Is that hood a bolt-on piece, or does it just come as the entire hood? Just wonderin'.

Re: a couple mods...

Yeah, Gude Performance (Bullfrog Racing) has headers listed for the MX-3. When I e-mailed them to see if they were for the GS or RS, or could do a custom, they never replied : ( Looks like I'm going to wait a while until I can get my pistons, rods, bearing, clutch and what-nots upgraded so I can ...

Re: JDM/ J-Spec/miata

$1500?!? That is really good. I can't believe I've never heard of all these parts being interchangable. This opens an entire new perspective on performance for my MX-3!!

a couple mods...

I just had an Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley and a universal air filter installed! I can really feel the difference. The RPM's just jump up, I love driving my MX so much more now. All I have right now are those mods and exhaust. If you're looking for a performance mod, I highly suggest both of ...

Re: Hayame Muffler

I have a Hayame and it is great. I have a 2.5 inch pipe hooked up to it and it sounds really good. Not ricey at all. Has a deep tone to it. I payed $200 bucks for the muffler and $100 for the pipe. Worth every penny.
Jordan

I also have a Hayame muffler. I have been very impressed, along with all the others that have heard it : ) I went with the 2.5 inch piping but I am thinking of switching to 2.25 inch. I pretty much agree with what Mason had to say and have had similar experiences.
Jordan
