My car has been doing this same thing for 3 years, on and off. I turned the idle up a bit and it doesn't do it much anymore. But them again, it idles around 1500 too. Sometimes higher. Same thing though, idle drops to nearly nothing, belts squeal a bit, shimmy shakey, comes back up to normal.

I got some stuff at autozone that is called: "BLUE MAGIC - Plastic and Plexiglass cleaner". It works great, just like a liquid wax. I used it on ALL my lights, makes them look new.

I have a 93 1.6L, which I have had for over 3 years. Just recently it started "sputtering" when on the throttle, like it's not getting gas. Was wondering if anyone could direct me to where the fule filter is at so I can check/replace it...THNX!
