Re: Over Heating Issue
I am not very sure on the v6, but on 4 cylinder BP engines if the ignition timing is retarded to much the engine will overheat, and if the fuel pressure regulator gets stuck on very high psi. On my engine long time ago the factory fuel regulator got stuck at 75 psi, the engine overheated very quick ...

You know I was just checking into water/meth but man are they expensive, like 300 or more for a kit.
Do you use water/meth or only water?
What kit do you have? I see as well you have installed one of those aem fic.
Which one do you have?
I have an Apexi SAFC, the silver one with the 8 ...

Thanks to both of you, thats what I did...
I said f.. it and lets see what happens after I put everything back. The engine took a hit with that overheating and lean condition. I learned my lesson to zip tie all vacuum lines especially the one for the AFPR. The car was running fine until the moment ...

I have it between the intercooler and throttle body.
To me I prefer the computer to boosted air because in reality that gives it a more accurate reading. It has been this way more than a year running at 15 psi until the oil pump blew up.
IMO, it makes more sense for the ECU to adjust fuel, timing ...

Re: question about oil pump
No need to change the oil pump, I mean upgrade.
If its an old one with many miles would not hurt to put a new one.
The only thing is...
Do not use those titanium/ aluminum pulleys, stay with the stock harmonic balancer.

Brace the turbo to the engine block, and I mean a L steel clamp from the hot side to somewhere on the engine block.
The turbo manifold will snap!
Guaranteed!!!
