So basically you're pointing out that a smaller tire will weigh less. Don't forget tire compound, tread thickness, overall design, number of ply's.... pretty much every possible spec ...

Depending on the tires, material, dimensions, or/and style, it can change how much the tire will weigh.

I am trying to find some OEM wheels (not limited to mazda wheels) that are lightweight and I can paired with lightweight tires.

I have been looking around for specs on oem mazda wheels and all I found was lots of info on miata wheels but nothing on mx-3 wheels.

I'd like to know the size and weight ...

I'd have to go out and measure but I remember they are roughly the length of the 4 spacers together.

I have managed to fab a way to install racing seats with stock brackets/silders. Total cost to do it was $9 and drilling two holes which doesn't effect structure and you can still put the stock seats back on. When I get the time I will take pics of them installed. I want to repaint the brackets ...
