no i don't believe so.

i'm in the process of taking my b6 out and i can't get the motor off the tranny (auto - idk if that matters). i want to just take out the motor even tho i've read it'll make things simpler if i took out the tranny also. i just don't want to mess with the axles. i can't see anymore tranny bolts but ...

yea thats what i ended up doing.

i've tried "pushing the retainers" in but it doesnt go in far enough? hard to put a lot of pressure on them.

room is tight back there, any tips that might save me a headache?
