k8 engine knocking

i bought a 97 gs special edition....i had a 94 GS before so i know my way about the engine etc.

It was ok till i did an oil change ive put in fully synthetic oil into it....now i have a knocking around 2500-3000 rpm and when i accelerate ican hear it tapping away getting louder starting at 4k rpm ...

something ive noticed as well that use have all forgotten about mpg if you have high mileage changing the gear box oil will help the engine run smoother with renewing the minerals in the oil....full protection once again with the easiness of slipping into gears.....did it with mines made a big ...

the whinning sound....if its coming from your box will most likely be your pressure release bearing which you get with a clutch kit although if your sayin its kicking the clutch bk up again i would go for pressure plate itself so just get the clutc h kit and it will have the clutch plate, pressure ...

its ok i know what it is i need the alarm reset by mazda from the ecu its disable as the batt was of for so long it automatically resets anything saved on the ecu

although i meant to say that it used to work with the power locks previously but doesn't now does it act as an immobilizer though for the engines starter motor

i doubt it will be the fuse aswell....doesnt make a single noise and the lights dont die down on the dash either have you ever heard for a micro switch in the door lock that acts as an imobilizer

sounds asthough there must be a bad earth in the socket because it pops the other light as though one is drawing to much current because there isnt a good enough earth to complete the circuit
