It may be a hopping but if it is then its a really quick bouncing. im gonna do as you suggested and jack the car up... ill post a reply when i find out thanks.

Tire vibrating

Hello,
My 92 MX-3's rear passenger tire vibrates pretty bad when going around turns and driving over 45mph... kinda makes a sound similar to a propellor. does any one have any idea what could cause this?? Thanks..

yea i dunno thats what they told me thats y i was alittle skeptical about the 170 dollar diagnostic fee..... lol i checked the oil seems like its alittle watery, the temp guage is alright but the light flickers on and off.. from reading your replies and other things online sounds like it might just ...

What are the symptoms of a blown head gasket? Our car wa taken to the shop where they said a spark plug was fouled so the replaced them and then they did a diagnostic and said the head gasket was blown.. the diagnostic cost 170 dollars which seems very high to me.... we picked up the car and drove ...

new belt on still squealing

Well I got another alt belt on and its still squealing... this time I made sure it was exactly the right tension, but this time I noticed that the upper pulley for the alt belt was getting hot.. what could cause this??? I think its what caused the initial problem with the original belts before I ...

Well the alt and ac belts went on... but I ust had done something wrong cause the alt belt shredded into pieces 2 days later.... Does anyone know why this could happen? The belt was tight and it was aligned the whole way around. I know I must of done something wrong... anyways I dont think I will be ...

I finally got the belts on... and now they are squealing after 2 days.. they are lined up alright.. but after reading all the replies Its probably because they now need to be tightened.. Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it.

I tried lossening that belt even sprayed it to eat up the rust and I cant get it loose.. is there any other way? to get the belt to stretch a bit? I tried to get the power steering belt on but that doesnt want to seem to go on either.. and I can push the pump down pretty far the hoses are holding it ...

yup its the same size belt. Its a duralast 342k4, got it from autozone... Ill try that bottom bolt and let you know

trick to replacing alternator belt?

Hello,

I am trying to replace my alternator belt in my 92 mx-3. I got the old belt off but I cant get the new one on its soo close to fitting over the top pulley but just doesnt have enough give and I have the alternator pushed as far towards the engine it will go to relieve tension. any ideas ...

replacing A/C and alternator belt

I have a 92 mx3, and i need new belts.. I want to do it myself and I was just wondering, if the belts were on a tensioner? if not how do I replace them? let me know thanks

Rear defrost not working

I have a 92 mx-3 its in excellent working condition, runs like a champ but the rear defrost went, the light for the button doesnt even come on ne more could this be a blown fuse? let me know, thanks.
