Whats the name of the shifter thing that is known for always breaking?
The plastic things break and the shifter is always falling. You can cheap fix it by drilling in bolts/screws which isnt really a good idea.
I need to fix mine and am looking for some guides.

Item #29 is called the extension bar. the rubber isolator is inside the big end there. Items #22-28 all fit together to form the pivot for the shift lever. Whent he shifter falls through it's because the rubber bit inside the big end of the extension bar has rotted and fallen out.

I remember when my buddy borrowed my car for the day as I took his 300z, and the look on his face was priceless! He thought he had done major major damage putting the shifter through the floor.
