Post by kp2t »

when i put my left indicator on it makes the fast clicking noise, and shows no light on the indicator... i changed the front bulb and rear bulb but same situation, is it possible the bulb is just blown in the dash?

if youve checked all the bulbs and that still flashes fast its probably your signal relay, i had the same problem, its the little box under the dash next to the clutch i got one at a pick apart for like under $20 and it fixed all my signal problems. good luck.

I agree...check the TNS relay under the dash. Located by the wire colours going to it (RED / BLACK, WHITE / BLACK and ORANGE). This happened to me too.

The TNS relay doesn't have anything to do with the signals. If the light on the dash doesn't flash fast it could be that one is blown. If you could swap the YELLOW and GREEN wires over at the flasher unit it would prove if it is the control circuit or the actual load. (This would make left come on when you indicate right and vice versa so don't forget to swap back straight away.)

The TNS relay does the tails, dash and parking lights (?). It also sends a signal for that damn beeping....

   I don't think I want to buy parts from that place. $80 for a $5 part, hope it's made of gold or something  .

Not positive on this but if memory serves, I think the Mazda TNS flasher relay is unfortunately not one of those $5 replacement types. Seem to remember that the dealer price for the replacement part is ~$100?

The flasher went on the 626 back when I was driving it before I got the Mx-3, it was $60-something back then, dealer only part too. Not cheap, especially since they don't allow returns on that part, but it fixed the exact same problem that you had Kp2t
