civic wiring

Post by ninjajim4 »

Well, my civic lights are due to come in today, and it'll soon be time to wire them up!

hec suggested i find a civic harness and chop it up, but in going thru old threads, i've also seen it mentioned that i can jsut get some h4 connectors and doing a little modding to my stock harness.

can anyone postively confirm that?

thanks!

Jim, google rallyelights (sp) and they may have a 9004 to a H4 harness adapter - damn firewall is being a pain or I'd give ya a link.
I do remember a few posts dealing specifically with the wiring re-configuration and I believe it was specific enough to reflect which coloured wires went to which. I should be there, but probably as far back Jan or Feb.

thanks for the reply mr. john. i guess my question is a little premature, since i'm not exactly sure what it is that i'll have when these lights arrive (delivery got rescheduled for today).

but i was assuming that those threads regarding which color wires to connect to which were instructions on how to hook up a civic lighting harness to our own. reading other threads seems to indicate that perhaps thats not the case, and these lights come with some sort of wiring of their own?

i'll see what i've got here, and then inquire further, should i need to
