no more ticking!!!
well i need my oil pump replaced and havent had my car all weekend and monday. well today i got it back and there is no more ticking!!! i turned on my car and said "somethings wrong" then i realize, lifters arent ticking!!! i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!
im gonna see how last it stay quite, but i hope forever!!

i found that using better oil makes the ticking go away...keep that in mind when changing it

hehe....lifter tick is considered normal in my car.<P>What is the season like where you live? I know everybody says 10w30 anytime, all the time but in the colder climates some peoples engines fair better with 10w40 when it drops below 40 degrees F.<P>BTW, I've always used syntehtics. But on my last oil change I put in this new stuff fro mcastrol called "Cam2." Anyone have experience with it? I don't think it's a synthetic; but my car is still running just fine.
