yes. You will need a flaring tool. They are about 20-50 bucks. You would cut off the end and slip off the stripped out fitting and slip on the new one. Then you would flare the end. Most have a lot of difficulty flaring brake lines especially old ones. if it cracks you have to start over. I would recommend buying a section of line (its like 4 bucks at NAPA) and practice first.

I just went through replacing all of the lines that run from the front of the car to the rear due to corrosion. Those two brake lines run straight from the proportioning valve on the dash panel behind the engine.
The lines are not expensive but really - REALLY difficult to swap. If you can re-flare new nuts THAT is the answer.
