What is this?
what is this? I'm subscribed to my local mazda dealer for news on facebook and on March 20 they posted that saying "inquire about an RX-9 Today!!"
But.. I thought mazda was done with rotaries for now? Not completely done but.. it would be a little while before we saw another RX...

Re: What is this?
I reverse google imaged the pic and it's a concept picture that's been in circulation since at least 2008.

Re: What is this?
from the google homepage, you click images, then in the search bar there is a little camera symbol, click the camera acne paste the pictures address in there.

Re: What is this?
It just doesn't seem in line with any of Mazda's current design ideas - Shinari, Furai, etc. & all Mazda's current range all seem to hint that they're heading in the direction which Furai exaggerated - deeply textured surfaces, fluid lines meeting in sharp angles, etc... That "RX-9" just seems too 'chubby', especially from the front, and too Honda-esque from the rear...??
That said, I have read in a car mag earlier this yr that there were plans for an RX-9 (which may combine with MX-5, to become a Rotary convertable, as demand apparently isn't there for two models, despite the number I see on the roads here!) due in like 2015 or something....
