The part is a One Piece Aluminum B-Pillar Bar
Fitment is any year or model Mx3. See the 2 different style bars in above thread. cut and no cut.
Material
- They are made with 6061 T6 aluminum tubing. 1.250" diameter
- Brackets are made from 6061 T6 aluminum as well
brackets are TIG welded on to make it a one piece bar.
No hardware is included, it uses the factory seat belt bolts.
No removal or cutting of the b-pillar plastic trim

Cash payments are for pickup, if you are located in the GTA or waterloo area, I live in Grimsby (just south of hamilton) you can drop by with your 80+mx3 donation and pick it up. As a bonus, I'll give you a hand installing the bar if you bring your MX3 !

I will also take a down payment of 25 $ CDN and you can pay the remainder when your bar is finished and ready to ship if you choose.

Other details and install notes
There will be a maximum of 10 spots for this GB.
once the final list of members is determined the fabrication will take a maximum of 5 days (working on these around my full time job) and then they will all go to the powder coaters together.

Since the bar links the 2 seat belt points together, they will not swivel with a bar installed. The bar has to be installed with the belt guide swiveled all the way forward for your belt to pull out as it normally would. If you dont do this if will be a pain in the butt. I suggest next time you get in your mx3 hold the top seat belt guide all the way forward and picture it fixed there with the bar installed to give you an idea.
Disclaimer : For off road use only. B-Pillar bars are not illegal, however if you choose to carry passengers in the back seat and get in an accident, I dont envy the person who gets a 1 1/4 bar off the forehead. Please use common sense.
