Cheap 3-wire O2 sensors

That's less than $30 CAD shipped per sensor. I personally don't want to run a 1-wire sensor because I've heard of problems with it not heating up fast enough and the ECU throwing an inversion code, these would be the perfect replacement.

The only problem I see is that shipping could take a while, but living in Canada and always using the cheapest shipping method, I'm used to waiting weeks for something to arrive.

$11 and $2 per extra item for shipping to Canada, so a bit more expensive but they'll get here much faster.

I guess you might know this already, but Rockauto.com has 02's. They have actual OEM replacement, Denso, for ~$80.

AAAAAAAAAAAAWWW!!!!!!! Cheaping out on O2 sensors, don't do it. Your ECU uses that signal to properly fuel manage your engine. Buy nothing but direct fit OEMs. Denso is factory and I've heard Walker work really well in Mazda's. Rockauto is one reputable source as is O2sensors.com Please don't buy some Ivan Knockoff from Ebay. I've bought sensors for both my MX3 and MX6 from Rockauto with no problems. My cars run great with no fuel issues. The MX3 runs really nice and my Laptop shows the new sensors (compared to the old ones) having a real fast responce time. My Opinion.

All O2 sensors are the same really, they have the same voltage curve and are pretty much the same quality. The 2nd link is Borg-Warner, they're a good company. The only difference between 4-wire and 3-wire is an extra ground, 4-wires are never really required, tons of modern cars still use 3-wires. Why would you pay almost triple the price for something that may only work a tiny bit better or may last a few thousand clicks more?

Also, both my O2 sensors are unplugged ATM because they're so fouled up that the car run better without them, so I'll take pretty much anything.

Haha, no...

I'm just saying, I'd rather trust someone I know of, and have interacted with, than read it off of a webpage somewhere. All the impresions I get from people whose names I know vote "no" on cheap O2's.

Buy hey, you can glady add to the pool of MX-3.com knowledge and buy a cheapie and see how she goes

Thanks I don't plan on keeping this car for too long anyway, so I don't really care if it lasts a long time.
